General Annual Meeting

The AGM of MOHANDES was held at 7:00 P.M. of May 1st, 2002 in Thorn Hill Room of Sheraton Parkway Hotel on Highway #7 with the presence of more than %50 of the members.  First the Chairman of the Board presented the activities report of Mohandes in the past year and then Treasurer gave the financial report, which was approved by the Assembly. Then the BOD suggested modifications in MOHANDES Constitution were discussed and two of them were approved as:

1-A sustaining member with more than one year of membership shall be eligible to be elected to the Board of Directors.

2-The General Assembly is convened at least once a year in the first week of May to elect the Board of Directors and to approve the annual budget.

Then Assembly voted for the electing of 5 new BOD members and following were elected.

1. Mr. Gholam Hossein Zereshkian
2. Ms. Nazanin Nasiri
3. Mr. Syamak Azizi
4. Mr. Changiz Sadr
5. Mr. Mohammad Hossein Kamyab

The new BOD held their first meeting on May 15^th, 2002 and internal election was done as follows:

1 - Mr. Zahedi	Chair
2 - Mr. Zereshkian	Vice Chair and Head of Publication Committee
3 - MS. Jafarzadeh	Treasurer
4 - MS. Nasiri	Secretary
5 - MS. Behzadi	Head of Social Affairs Committee
6 - Mr. Azizi	Head of Technical & Culture Committee
7 – Mr.Kajbaf	Head of Registration & Organization Committee
8 - Mr. Sadr	Member of Technical & Culture Committee
9 - Mr. Kamyab	Member of Technical & Culture Committee
10- Mr. Shayan	Member of Registration & Organization Committee
11- Mr. Rahimzamani	Member of Social Affairs Committee
